On-Campus Event Bookings

Information Sessions

Profile your company to Queen’s students through an information session. employer giving information sessionCareer Services will reserve your venue, order food and/or beverages, and assist in marketing your session to students. 


Information sessions see the best attendance on weekday evenings (Monday - Thursday) with start times of 5:30 or 6:30 pm.

September, October, and January - peak times for on-campus recruitment. Contact Career Services to schedule your event early. 
Early November, February, and early March - sessions at this time may see lower attendance. Contact Career Services staff to learn more.
Late November, December, late March, April, and summer months - sessions are not scheduled during these times as students are in exams or away from campus.


All information sessions are posted on our MyCareer event calendar and in our weekly bulletin to departments. Where applicable, we can also send messages to relevant student groups and post on our social media accounts.
We employers to promote their visit to campus through channels such as your recruitment website, LinkedIn, Alumni networks, and social media. Jobs posted to our MyCareer job portal can also be linked to your upcoming information session.


The administrative fee for booking Information Sessions is $150.

Cost of venues can range from $30-50 for classrooms or workshop rooms to $150+ for more formal venues on campus such as our University Club. Food and beverages can be ordered for your student audience by Career Services staff, at cost.

Office Hours

Career Services can book space in our on-site interview rooms or workshop rooms for you to meet 1-1 with students. We can also assist in promoting your Office Hours and facilitating student registration.

Office Hour bookings for both employers and educators begin at a rate of $100, which includes setup, scheduling, promotion to students, and one interview room. Additional rooms are available at a discounted rate of $50 per additional room.

For Educators

Educator information sessions are available, but often see low registration numbers. For best results, we recommend a booth at our annual Career Fair in September, or booking an information table on campus.
