Connect with a Career Coach

You can book an appointment with a Career Educator & Coach to get career consultation, discuss how your degree connects to careers, review your cover letter or resume, prepare for an interview, and many other career-related topics. We also support students with further education, including CV and personal statement strategies and graduate program applications.

Every current Queen’s student may book up to 3 appointments total per academic year from September to August (including Career Consultations and Cover Letter or Resume Reviews).

Upon graduation,1 additional year of access to appointments and services starts after the last semester in which you were enrolled in courses.

Drop-in Career Advising

What is drop-in career advising?

Career coaches work with students in our Career Information Area to help them get moving on all kinds of career issues.  You might have questions like:

  • How can I find organizations related to my interest?
  • How can I get started finding a part-time/summer job?
  • Where do I start when researching graduate programs?

If you're thinking about these or other quick career, job search or education questions, stop by during drop-in career advising hours! Drop-In Career Advising is being offered both in person and online - check the events calendar for the online link.

Need resume/CV help?  Due to the high volume of students participating in drop-in advising, we cannot normally review individual resumes at that time. Instead, please take a workshop  or book a Resume Review Appointment.
