Instead, by acknowledging challenges and focusing on strengths, opportunities, collaboration, and innovation, we can adopt what Joanna Macy calls Active Hope. With a broader perspective, we can see that we are not alone in facing these challenges. We have overcome and grown from challenges many times in the past, both individually and as a society.
