Camp Manitou is an overnight summer camp for kids ages 6-16, located in McKellar, Ontario. Established in 1959, Camp Manitou differs from other camps as we let our campers express their individuality and choose their own schedules. From over 30 activities to choose from, Manitou offers a wide range of sports, visual and performing arts, and outdoor adventure activities. Whether you are someone just looking for a job for the summer or looking to start a career in outdoor education, one message remains the same: Our staff are our strength: With over 200 staff and close to 450 campers per session, we take pride in our Staff/Camper ratio. The training we provide our staff ensures that they are well prepared for the job and just as important, have fun in the process. Manitou’s Director team is made up of mature teachers, professionals and parents who do an incredible job supporting and training our staff as well. Telephone Aid Line Kingston (TALK) is a confidential, anonymous, and non-judgmental listening phone line.
