A Canadian paid internship program for graduates with self-declared disabilities to assist them in gaining career-building work experience. Interns have a university degree or college diploma/certificate and are looking to accelerate their professional careers. Internships are paid positions that last for 6, 9, or 12 months and are used by employers seeking more diversity in their workforce.

CACEE Ethical Recruitment Guidelines
CACEE (pronounced: kay-see) The Canadian Association of Career Educators and Employers (CACEE) is a national non-profit partnership of employer recruiters and career services professionals. CACEE sets out guidelines for ethical recruitment at post-secondary educational institutions. These guidelines are intended to provide a framework for the professional relationships between employers, students, third party recruiters and career educators. The guidelines are based on industry research, have been generally agreed upon by employers and educators, and are advocated by CACEE for national implementation.

Resume Fundamentals
In this workshop, you will learn how to use key strategies to highlight your unique skills, knowledge, and experience on your resume or CV. To get the most benefit from this workshop, it is helpful to bring a copy of your resume. If you have a specific opportunity you are applying to, bringing the role description can also be helpful.
Cover Letter Fundamentals
In this workshop, you will learn about the key components of a cover letter and strategies for writing a cover letter that will help your application stand out. You will also complete exercises designed to help you get started customizing your cover letter.
Interviewing Strategies
This workshop will provide you with a variety of strategies allowing you to attend your next interview feeling confident and prepared, whether it is remote (i.e., by phone or Zoom) or in person. Learn strategies to answer the classic "Tell Me About Yourself" question, behavioural questions, and situational questions. You will also learn to prepare questions to ask the interviewer. Come prepared to practice and leave feeling ready for your next interview!

Get started with LinkedIn: begin to develop your profile and learn how to strategically use the search function!
This workshop will help you effectively communicate your career story to the LinkedIn community. We will review major components of your profile, brainstorm key elements of your career story, and begin to create targeted content. You will also learn how to leverage tools and resources specific to Queen’s students to explore potential careers, communicate and network with other professionals, and search for your next career opportunity. If you are attending the workshop in-person, please bring your own tablet or computer.
Networking Strategies
In this workshop, you will learn how to approach networking, get organized, and solidify your connections. We will review how to introduce yourself effectively and ask relevant questions. This workshop will boost your confidence when talking to new people.
Job Search Strategies
In this workshop, you will learn strategies for effectively searching for a job, whether it is a part-time job or a role for after-graduation. We will guide you through the process of identifying your goals, the sectors and types of organizations that are offering opportunities, and concrete action steps you can take to secure those leads.
